Eyas Alhomouz
CEO
Eyas Alhomouz began his career as a wireline engineer with Schlumberger in Midland, Texas. Over the years, he has successfully led and expanded several companies across the US, Middle East, Africa, and beyond.
Eyas holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master of Science in Mineral and Energy Economics from the Colorado School of Mines. His extensive experience and educational background have been instrumental in driving growth and innovation in the energy sector.
Amal Asokan
Finance Manager
Amal Asokan joined Petromal in August 2023 as the Finance Manager and currently leads finance, accounting, and treasury functions. In his role, he works closely with the senior management team to drive financial strategy and performance.
Before joining Petromal, Amal served as the Financial Controller at Bin Butti Group in Abu Dhabi, overseeing 12 entities across diverse sectors including Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Hospitality, Property Management, Manufacturing, and Manpower Supply.
A qualified CMA, Amal also holds a diploma in IFRS from ACCA. With over 13 years of experience, he began his career in auditing and taxation at a Chartered Accounting firm in Bangalore, India. Amal earned his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Calicut, India, in 2009.
Saad Maraqa
Operations Manager
With over 20 years of experience, Saad Maraqa has held key roles in product management, marketing, and operations at leading organizations. His extensive background includes launching successful ventures, negotiating complex contracts, managing global accounts, and driving innovative solutions for energy markets worldwide.
Saad holds an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School, specializing in data analysis and entrepreneurship, an MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University.
Passionate about sustainability and innovation, Saad applies his expertise to enhance operational efficiency, foster strategic partnerships, and advance sustainable growth within the energy sector.
